Lighthouse description
The lighthouse was built in 1886 on the island bearing the same name. It is situated 300 m from the west, uninhabited part of island of Murter. There are many little islets nearby, and the National park of Kornati is only 6 NM away. There is a possibility of grocery delivery on daily basis. The island of Murter is connected to the land by a bridge. The transfer is to the village of Tisno by car, and then another 20 km by car to the village of Murter. From Murter, there is a transfer by boat to the lighthouse (approx. 45 minutes).

In comparison with the other islets in Murter archipelago, which are surrounded with shallow sea dotted with sharp rocks, Prišnjak is more like the Kornati Islands. Moreover, due to its meandering drystone walls, a little mooring area and a few small pine forests it is considered to be the most beautiful of the Murter islands. Next to the lighthouse there's a hundred years old pine tree which provides natural shade all day long so you can really enjoy your time at a spacious stone terrace adjoining the lighthouse. Needless to say, from there you can also witness amazing sunsets over Kornati Islands.
