"Robinson Crusoe Style" Tourism

"Robinson Crusoe style" houses are those located either on small islands or in remote bays accessible only by macadam roads. Sometimes this type of house is completely isolated, with no neighbors nearby, whereas in other cases there are few other houses in the vicinity. Drinking water is rainwater collected in water tanks, electricity is provided via solar panels and stove and refrigerator run on gas. There is no hot water in the house and the shower is usually of an outdoor type, with sun-heated water tanks. Due to this, rational use of water is encouraged. Moreover, all the necessary supplies should be bought beforehand since local stores are generally located far away. All houses are furnished with necessary furniture and appliances - some are better equipped, while others show their spartan spirit. Beautiful bay, but normally difficult to reach by car. The house is well situated, the view is fantastic, the conditions really robinsonii. The contact is very kind and helpful. Minor inconveniences: lots of mosquitoes, and 43-degree heat can really miss air conditioning ...
