Terms of competition for the best vacation video

Tourist agency Adriatic.hr d.o.o., Washingtonova 5, Split, MB: 2466457, ID: HR-AB-21-020038491 announces competition for the best vacation video

„Shoot video and win“

  1. Every guest who uses Adriatic.hr services in season 2009 can participate in the best vacation video competition.
  2. The number of the videos with which the guest can participate in competition is unlimited.
    The guest can send his/her personal videos only.

    With every sent video, the guest has to supply his/her full name, home address, e-mail, phone number and a short description of the video. If it is possible, GPS coordinates of the place where the video was shot can be submitted as well (but it is not a condition).

    The videos will be uploaded to a special Adriatic.hr database. The videos can be sent until October 31st 2009.

  3. The guest who wishes to participate in the competition must send to Adriatic.hr a vacation video that meets the following requirements:
    • the video must show destination and /or its natural or cultural sights (for instance, the beaches and beach activities, interesting locations in the vicinity, excursion destinations, interesting cultural manifestations - fisherman's feasts, panoramic videos from boats.
    • There can be no advertisements of companies, agencies etc. in the video.
    • It is advisable that the video gives the guests an insight in the destination, that it "catches the spirit" of the place.
    • It is also advisable that the video does not show typical family scenes.
    • The duration of one video must not be longer than 3 minutes.

  4. Technical parameters are not determined, but it is advisable that the video meets the following parameters:
    • video format: H.264, MPEG-2 ili MPEG-4
    • aspect ratio: e.g. 4:3, 16:9
    • resolution: 640x360 (16:9) or 480x360 (4:3)
    • audio format: MP3 or AAC
    • frames per second: 30

  5. Adriatic.hr jury consisting of the employees will choose 3 best videos at the end of the competition. The authors of the videos will win the following discounts:
    • 1st place: a discount in amount of 500 €
    • 2nd place: a discount in amount of 250 €
    • 3rd place: a discount in amount of 100 €
    • every video published on Adriatic.hr site: a discount in amount of 15 €

    The guest who wins one of the 3 above stated prizes or wins a 15 € discount for a video published on Adriatic.hr site can use that discount upon service reservation for the next season, and no later than March 31st 2010.

    The winners and awarded videos will be published on Adriatic.hr web site no later than November 15th 2009. The winners will be notified by e-mail about the win prize.

  6. By sending the video, the guest confirms that he/she is the author of the video and accepts the publication of the video on Adriatic.hr web site.

    By participating in the competition the guest gives his/her rights for the video to Adriatic.hr without claiming any money compensation. The guests accepts that the video can be used for marketing purposes on behalf of Adriatic.hr regardless of the fact if it was awarded or not. The Adriatic.hr reserves the right to decide which videos will or will not be published on the web site.
