The Adriatic.hr Excellence Award is a merit-based award created to recognize and reward outstanding students currently enrolled at universities who embody excellence in everyday life.We believe in supporting the next generation of leaders and innovators. This award recognizes students who demonstrate initiative, responsibility, curiosity, and real-world impact through the way they show up every day.
The award includes a €3,000 Adriatic.hr accommodation voucher, redeemable exclusively for accommodation bookings via Adriatic.hr, subject to availability and the official Terms & Conditions.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Adriatic.hr Excellence Award, you must meet all of the following criteria:
Be currently enrolled at a higher education institution
Be 18 years of age or older at the time of application
Be enrolled at an eligible study stage: Bachelor semesters 3–8 or Master semesters 1–4 (or equivalent according to your institution)
Submit a video in English that is 1–3 minutes long and accessible via a link that opens without requesting permission/login
How to Apply
Follow these four simple steps to submit your application for the Excellence Award
Step 1
Complete the Application Form
Fill out the Google Form with your full name, email, and phone number. You will also confirm that you are currently enrolled at a university and that you meet the eligibility requirements set out in the Terms & Conditions.
Step 2
Add Your Video Link
Provide a link to your video in English (1–3 minutes). In your video, define what excellence means to you and share real examples of how you live it in everyday life.
Step 3
Check Video Accessibility
Make sure your video link opens without requesting access or login. If we cannot access your video during review, we cannot evaluate it and your application may be disqualified.
Step 4
Submit
Submit your application before the deadline. If you are shortlisted as a finalist, we may contact you to request proof of current enrollment and documentation supporting key claims made in your video (48-hour response window).

Evaluation Criteria
Your video will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
Academic excellence and intellectual development: Do you demonstrate academic achievement and/or clear intellectual growth and motivation to learn?
Leadership and ownership: Do you show initiative, responsibility, and leadership through concrete examples?
Community impact and innovation: Do you demonstrate meaningful contribution, volunteering, innovation, or projects with positive impact?
Definition of excellence and content quality: Is your definition of excellence clear, supported by concrete examples, and convincingly connected to how you apply it in everyday life?
What to Include in Your Video:
Briefly introduce yourself (university/program)
Define what excellence means to you
Share concrete examples that show how you live excellence in everyday life
Where relevant, include examples related to: academic development, leadership/ownership, and community impact/innovation
Explain how your examples connect to your personal definition of excellence and why you deserve the award
Finalist Verification (Proof of Enrollment)
To keep the application simple, we do not ask for proof of enrollment during the initial application.
After video scoring, we may shortlist a smaller group of finalists. Finalists may be asked to submit evidence to verify eligibility requirements and support key claims made in the video before the winner is confirmed.
