"Robinson Crusoe style" houses are those located either on small islands or in remote bays accessible only by macadam roads. Sometimes this type of house is completely isolated, with no neighbors nearby, whereas in other cases there are few other houses in the vicinity. Drinking water is rainwater collected in water tanks, electricity is provided via solar panels and stove and refrigerator run on gas. There is no hot water in the house and the shower is usually of an outdoor type, with sun-heated water tanks. Due to this, rational use of water is encouraged. Moreover, all the necessary supplies should be bought beforehand since local stores are generally located far away. All houses are furnished with necessary furniture and appliances - some are better equipped, while others show their spartan spirit. I booked an apartment for 3 people, which we got was quite small. The room, dining room and kitchen were in one space, and a tiny bathroom with toilet in a separate room. The apartment also had a comfortable terrace and its own grill oven. Of course, it was enough for 3 of us, I just expected it to be a little bigger. The apartment was clean, quite well equipped, unfortunately there was no sea view. The beach was close, however, the place was quiet, beautiful and safe. The houses were built close to each other, you could mainly walk between the neighboring houses, they were built on a hillside, but the presence of other people was not disturbing. There was a fixed parking space, it was a little far from the apartment, but it was only a little inconvenient after a lot of shopping, and while we were there, no one ever stopped us with their car. There were also two nice beaches close to the apartment, the SUPs were on the beach next to the trees the whole time, no one touched them. The local cats visited us, they really liked them.
