General questions about hot tubs
1. What exactly is a hot tub in an apartment and how is it different from a regular bathtub?
A Jacuzzi is a hydromassage tub equipped with jets that create bubbling water currents to massage the body. Unlike a regular bathtub, a hot tub has a water circulation system, a heater, and jets that create a therapeutic massage effect. Our apartments include different types of hot tubs - some are indoor, some are outdoor on terraces or balconies with a sea view.
2. Is the hot tub always filled and ready to use upon arrival?
Yes, in most of our apartments the hot tub is filled, cleaned and heated to a comfortable temperature before your arrival. In apartments where the hot tub requires a longer heating time (especially outdoor hot tubs during the colder months), it may take a few hours to reach the optimal temperature. In this case, you will be informed in advance.
3. What are the advantages of a apartment with a hot tub compared to a regular one?
Apartments with hot tubs bring an extra level of luxury and relaxation. Benefits include:
- Relax muscles and reduce tension after a day of sightseeing or beach time
- Romantic atmosphere for couples
- Therapeutic benefits for those with muscle or joint pain
- The opportunity to enjoy the hot tub overlooking the sea or the starry sky (for outdoor hot tubs)
-
A more exclusive holiday experience in the privacy of your own apartment

Maintenance and hygiene
8. How is the hot tub hygiene maintained between guests?
Each hot tub is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between guests. The cleaning process includes:
- Complete emptying and cleaning of all surfaces with special disinfectants
- Cleaning and replacing filters
- Filling with fresh water
- Adding appropriate chemicals to maintain water hygiene
- Testing water quality before new guests arrive
Special hot tub tablets are used that are adapted to maintain water hygiene while being gentle on the skin.
9. What chemicals are used to maintain hot tubs and are they safe?
To maintain the hygiene of the water in the hot tub, we use special bromine tablets instead of chlorine, as they are gentler on the skin and do not cause eye or skin irritation. All chemicals we use are dermatologically tested and approved for use in hot tubs. Chemicals are necessary to prevent bacterial growth and maintain the purity of the water.
Note: If you have special skin sensitivities or allergies, please inform us before your arrival so that we can adjust the chemical treatment of the water.
10. Is the water in the hot tub changed during my stay?
For shorter stays (up to 7 days), the water is not changed during your stay, unless there is visible contamination. For longer stays (more than 7 days), the water is changed once a week or as needed. Our staff regularly checks the water quality and adds the necessary chemicals to maintain hygiene.
11. What if I notice something wrong with the hot tub during my stay?
If you notice any problems with your hot tub (e.g. cloudy water, unusual odor, jet or temperature issues), please contact us immediately. Our maintenance team is available 24/7 and will respond as soon as possible to resolve the issue.
