Accommodation in Hvar - the island of lavender and sun

Hvar is one of the most famous Adriatic islands – known for the largest number of sunny hours in Croatia, crystal-clear sea, numerous coves, and picturesque towns.

The Old Town centre consists of Venetian palaces, a Renaissance square dominated by the Cathedral of St. Stephen, the Arsenal, and the Fortica fortress with a panoramic view of the Pakleni Islands. Apartments Hvar provide accommodation in the most attractive locations on the island; from historical houses in the old town centre to modern villas with pools in the coves.

Why choose Hvar for a vacation?

  • Sun and sea – Hvar is considered the sunniest Adriatic island, with turquoise sea and numerous hidden coves. Beaches such as Dubovica, Pokonji Dol, Milna, and Jagodna offer pebbles and crystal water, while the Paklinski Islands hide sandy lagoons like Palmižana.
  • History and culture – The island preserves more than two millennia of history. The Cathedral of St. Stephen, the Fortica fortress, and monasteries tell of Venetian and Renaissance heritage, and Stari Grad is one of the oldest urban centres in Europe.
  • Gastronomy and wines – Hvar caterers offer dishes with Mediterranean spices, fresh fish, brudet (fish stew), and lamb, and the vineyards in Svirče and Ivan Dolac produce plavac mali, bogdanjuša, and prošek (dessert wine).
  • Nightlife and events – Hvar town is known for lively bars, beach clubs, and concerts on the waterfront. The island hosts the Lavender Festival, wine events, and the "Za Križen" procession, protected by UNESCO.

We had a simply perfect vacation at this accommodation in Croatia! From the moment we arrived, everything was impeccable - the rooms are clean, spacious. The private beach is a real treasure: quiet, tidy, with crystal clear water, and just a few steps from the accommodation. The kitchen is huge and fully equipped, so even a larger family or group of friends could cook comfortably in it. The view is simply breathtaking - it was a pleasure to have coffee on the terrace every morning and admire the sea. The owners were extremely kind and helpful, they responded to all our requests immediately. There was also a gift waiting for us upon arrival, which we drank. I can honestly say that this place exceeded our expectations, and we will definitely be back!

Wonderful apartments in a wonderful location. But there are a number of wishes for improving the conditions during the stay. The main thing is that the owner of the apartment was not available for communication. Before arrival, I looked for an opportunity to communicate with him by correspondence in messages - there was no answer. Because from my own experience I had to clarify the details of the stay. The main remarks - there is no firewood or anything like that for the grill. At least for the first day. Quite inconspicuous kitchen utensils that need updating. Absolutely blunt knives that cannot be sharpened. There are no mosquito nets on the windows, so every night we were attacked by insects. During our entire stay, the garbage can was cleaned once. The last two days it was impossible to approach it (((
