"Robinson Crusoe style" houses are those located either on small islands or in remote bays accessible only by macadam roads. Sometimes this type of house is completely isolated, with no neighbors nearby, whereas in other cases there are few other houses in the vicinity. Drinking water is rainwater collected in water tanks, electricity is provided via solar panels and stove and refrigerator run on gas. There is no hot water in the house and the shower is usually of an outdoor type, with sun-heated water tanks. Due to this, rational use of water is encouraged. Moreover, all the necessary supplies should be bought beforehand since local stores are generally located far away. All houses are furnished with necessary furniture and appliances - some are better equipped, while others show their spartan spirit. Though maybe sometimes lacking in comfort, ''Robinson Crusoe style'' houses provide unspoiled natural setting, absolute tranquility and crystal clear sea, and will surely make your vacation on the Adriatic coast an unforgettable experience!

The hosts were very friendly. The apartment is in a great location, close to the sea. Two beaches are nearby. The apartment is averagely equipped, but some kitchen utensils are missing, such as a corkscrew. The description doesn't mention that the use of your own electrical appliances is prohibited, as they are not available in the apartment. The use of an iron and toaster is not permitted. It would be good to mention this in the description.

The mattresses were comfortable, but could be better. The apartment is tastefully decorated. The kitchen is equipped with the necessary appliances. Water from the boiler. 4 burner stove. Large fridge with freezer. The apartment's equipment is of a good standard. Mosquito nets and shutters on the windows. Bathroom with a shower cabin. The 230V electricity was connected before our arrival, so we were upgraded to a higher standard. Previously, there were solar panels, but electrification has now reached the village. Parking at the intersection at the top (GPS: 43.114377, 16.950783). You can drive down to unload the car, but you'd better go backwards because there's no way to turn around. The open-air museum in Humać and the town of Sućuraj are nearby. Close to 2 beautiful beaches in a wonderful bay. The best in Croatia. The sea view from our apartment was somewhat limited. GSM Internet works slowly on 3G bands. Very nice hostess. Thank you for your warm welcome. We would like to come back here.
