"Robinson Crusoe Style" Tourism
"Robinson Crusoe style" houses are those located either on small islands or in remote bays accessible only by macadam roads. Sometimes this type of house is completely isolated, with no neighbors nearby, whereas in other cases there are few other houses in the vicinity. Drinking water is rainwater collected in water tanks, electricity is provided via solar panels and stove and refrigerator run on gas. There is no hot water in the house and the shower is usually of an outdoor type, with sun-heated water tanks. Due to this, rational use of water is encouraged. Moreover, all the necessary supplies should be bought beforehand since local stores are generally located far away. All houses are furnished with necessary furniture and appliances - some are better equipped, while others show their spartan spirit. Though maybe sometimes lacking in comfort, ''Robinson Crusoe style'' houses provide unspoiled natural setting, absolute tranquility and crystal clear sea, and will surely make your vacation on the Adriatic coast an unforgettable experience!

Nice little holiday home, comfortable double bed and the kitchen is also functional. Large fridge-freezer combination always gave hot water and the shower was also functional. Beautiful shaded terrace and olive tree garden. About 300 meters to the sea.

Silence, tranquility, sunshine, olive trees, cicadas, roaring sea, starry sky. Perfect place to retreat from the world. Cable TV, hot showers, air conditioning and similar amenities are cluttered, but not absent. There is drinking water, there is electricity (none of which can be wasted), there is field strength, there is a gas stove, there is a barbecue (there is a fish market in Tkon). The beach is "swimwear" but RELAXING. With small children it may be better to have a sandy beach (they are across the island, 20 minutes drive), but for school-age people with diving goggles it is perfect fun. With a motorboat (rented or taken) the experience can be multiplied, closer small islets are also available. We had an electric motor dinghy, that's a borderline:) Don't leave Pecabot at home! Car not recommended, road quality for SUV.
