Two bedroom apartment with terrace Sabunike, Zadar A-14490-d

The apartment contains everything a family needs for vacation and relaxation - it is clean, equipped with everything needed in the kitchen and for vacation relaxation. The hosts are very accommodating and try to fulfill everything they see in the eyes of the guests and what could make the vacation even more pleasant. It was not a problem, for example, to get a cot when our son visited us with a baby. We had an apartment on the ground floor, which has two terraces with shading, I highly recommend it, especially for a family with a stroller, because you can get to the terrace and the rooms very comfortably from the outside. From the apartment, a short path leads to Sabunike beach, a few minutes' walk away. The beach is one of the five truly sandy beaches in Croatia. It is very suitable for families with slightly older children. After passing between the stones at the edge of the water - you have to find a path where there are no stones - there is a flat bottom with fine sand. The sand is heavy enough to keep the water from churning. Along the entire length of the beach up to Nin, i.e. approximately 3 km, it is possible to walk more than 100 m from the shore with a constant water depth of approximately 1.5 m. Suitable for adults and children who like the security of their bottoms. Due to the fact that the beach is in the bay, the water here is mostly calm without waves, excellent for swimming and lying. It's an Italian holiday in Croatia, you really don't need water shoes here. In the center there is a small shop that you can easily walk to with a sufficient assortment for a holiday - groceries, drug store, household goods and a bakery and a market with fruit, vegetables and needs for the beach. A large supermarket is 5 minutes away by car. We returned here after 15 years, umbrellas and trash cans were added. A shower and very clean toilets have been added. On the contrary, the widening of the beach with sharp gravel, in contrast to the fine sand that was here in the 90s, is not very happy. I have a big reservation about the limited services on the beach and I complained several times to the "providers" but it doesn't matter - the person who unlocks the parasols and sunbeds goes to work around 12:00, until then you can only use the shade of the parasol, the sunbeds are locked. Likewise, the "bar" where you can have a draft beer in a plastic cup or another drink and where there is otherwise a very pleasant sitting also opens just before lunch. If you don't need a sunbed, you have mineral water with you, you like peace and swimming with the certainty of a sandy bottom, this is the best place for relaxation in Croatia.

The suite is older, the drawer on the washing machine didn't work so we couldn't do our laundry, the refrigerator didn't work - we had to fix it ourselves. A bathroom from the 90s. The locals are the elderly people who live there. That is, it is as if you are visiting them. The house is in a densely built-up area, so the terraces are very close to each other, so you don't have privacy. We didn't get towels, which was quite a shock. I rate it as average accommodation for the undemanding.
