Sometimes this type of house is completely isolated, with no neighbors nearby, whereas in other cases there are few other houses in the vicinity. Drinking water is rainwater collected in water tanks, electricity is provided via solar panels and stove and refrigerator run on gas. There is no hot water in the house and the shower is usually of an outdoor type, with sun-heated water tanks. Due to this, rational use of water is encouraged. Moreover, all the necessary supplies should be bought beforehand since local stores are generally located far away. All houses are furnished with necessary furniture and appliances - some are better equipped, while others show their spartan spirit. Very pleasant accomodation, great for those who long for being far away from the crowds. Great for families with children as the beach is just a few steps down from the appartment. The only disadvantages could be the distance from the main road, which is probably the duty for the peace, and the fact that in the main season, the appatment will probably get hot. The house owners are very friendly and hospitable. I highly recommend this accomodation.
