Sometimes this type of house is completely isolated, with no neighbors nearby, whereas in other cases there are few other houses in the vicinity. Drinking water is rainwater collected in water tanks, electricity is provided via solar panels and stove and refrigerator run on gas. There is no hot water in the house and the shower is usually of an outdoor type, with sun-heated water tanks. Due to this, rational use of water is encouraged. Moreover, all the necessary supplies should be bought beforehand since local stores are generally located far away. All houses are furnished with necessary furniture and appliances - some are better equipped, while others show their spartan spirit. Though maybe sometimes lacking in comfort, ''Robinson Crusoe style'' houses provide unspoiled natural setting, absolute tranquility and crystal clear sea, and will surely make your vacation on the Adriatic coast an unforgettable experience!

The place was beautiful. The younger and older landlords were nice. I cannot recommend the place to people with health limitations. The description states parking on the premises, but the car can only be parked on the slope above the house and you have to climb 47 steps without a railing to reach the apartment. Unfortunately, there is a problem with electricity in the apartments and the solar battery is easily discharged even by simply charging the phone and operating the refrigerator. We were without electricity for 20 hours and there was basically not a single day without an outage, which led to some of the food spoiling. The younger landlord had no problem compensating for this with a 50 Euro discount. So, if you are looking for a romantic, quiet place where there is usually no electricity at night, I can recommend it. Unfortunately, I also have to give a negative assessment of the cleanliness and amenities of the apartment.
