Overall, we had a pretty good time. The apartment is simple, dated, and everything could be improved. Cleanliness was adequate: we found a sock under the sofa, hair in the sheets, and a dirty pan. Mrs. Marina was very kind and helpful, giving us tomatoes from her garden and a free parking pass. Among the flaws: the bed was poorly made and the sofa bed for the children had to be made up ourselves. The sheets were poor quality. The lack of a sofa cover was unhygienic. The separation between the terraces, with a sheet that blows in the wind, provides no privacy or security. Paying in cash is inconvenient and unsafe for long-distance travelers. On our tour of Slovenia and Croatia, this was the only apartment that didn't deserve the 9.2 Booking.com rating. A shame given the location, but based on our experience, we wouldn't recommend it for its value.
