A very nice, attentive, and helpful landlady. The apartment was perfectly adequate for the three of us, as we spent all day outdoors and used the terrace. We lacked nothing. The location was very quiet and relaxing, and from the terrace we had a glimpse of the water and the grapevines in the garden, where we also enjoyed spending time. We were staying with a family of friends who were using the apartment upstairs.

Clean, nice apartment with full hob and oven (with quality stainless steel utensils, but no baking tray - and if you want to cut, take a knife with you as usual). The apartment is high at the end of a dead end in a quiet location. The owner was friendly, he doesn't speak English. Here you first had to report to the tourist information center. It was strange (first case) that the owner asked for a deposit of 100 Eur (which of course we got back at the end) - so he didn’t get the maximum in the evaluation. Silo is not for the party animals, you prefer to come here to relax. Restaurant prices on the islands are usually high, but that’s no surprise. Most of the bays in Krk seemed to be gravelly / rocky - with small children it does not seem ideal. Without polyphoam or mattress, it is not more comfortable to lie on it. . It’s not ideal for scuba diving - for that I gave only a good rating for the beaches. By the way now (next to Covid) we could always park next to the bays, it was in the shade. Normally, it would probably be harder. Overall, we had a good time. The apartment is good value for money - if the beach was more beautiful under water, we would definitely go back to the island.
