One bedroom apartment with balcony and sea view Oprič, Opatija A-7756-a

The accommodation does not have an exact address on the booking. Which is the first minus (we learned the exact location on the day of arrival, when the owner sent me the address on WhatsApp). The entire house with apartments is a 45-minute walk from the sea (I note the way down the hill). The apartments have a beautiful view of the sea and the entire surrounding area, but that is probably the only plus. Upon arrival, we discovered that we were missing 4 of the 17 beds. However, the owner threatened us that he would unlock another apartment with 5 beds for us only if we gave him the documents that he wanted to take with him somewhere and that he wanted to bring them to us only the next day morning. We did not agree with this, because we came here for the majorette competition and I needed the documents in the morning for registration. I suggested to him that I would go with him to copy the documents, and then I would take them back to my place. But he didn't agree to that, and started threatening us that if we didn't give him the documents, he would evict us. (We had paid for the accommodation in advance). The whole situation escalated so much that the owner started taking the keys to the apartment, where we already had things. He locked another apartment and even turned off our electricity. I solved the whole situation with booking, where it was found that the payment for the accommodation did not go through the booking portal, so the gentleman could not help me in any way and referred me to the police. So I went to the police to solve the whole situation with the documents. The local police station made copies of the documents for me, but the owner did not want to accept them without a stamp from the police. So we visited the police station for the 2nd time, but the police got angry, took the owner's number and communicated with him in Croatian, so I couldn't understand them. After arriving back at the apartment, the owner's behavior turned 360 degrees. He unlocked our locked apartment, opened another apartment with 5 beds for us, and returned the keys. We arrived at the cabin around 2 p.m. We were accommodated until half past 9 in the evening. The owner's behavior was aggravated, all of the above did not have to happen at all. In any case, the behavior was inadequate, and we will definitely not book this accommodation again. The cleanliness of the accommodation was also nothing much. Cobwebs with spiders everywhere. I do not recommend these apartments. But thanks for the experience.
