Family friendly apartments with a swimming pool Podstrana, Split - 4859

Worst apartment I've seen and experienced so far, just a horror! Please people look for something different for the price, you get much nicer and better service in Croatia. We booked the apartment for 6 people and 2 dogs (the ad said that pets are welcome) everything was stated. 1 person should follow. The 5 of us and the 2 dogs arrived and a "lady" welcomed us there, she only speaks Croatian and we can only speak English or German, so the communication was a disaster when I said the 5 of us arrived and the 2 dogs wanted she didn't have the 2 dogs in the apartment and wanted to throw us out, but after we paid a part in advance and stated everything (I also had the confirmation) I had to call a gentleman who finally spoke German. I explained to him that on the page it said that dogs are allowed and that we have given it and already paid. After a long back and forth, they had to agree, the apartment was very dirty, the floor wasn't wiped, the couch and armchairs looked terrible. The kitchen was a disaster, we decided to use the cutlery and bought everything from the supermarket in plastic. The 300m beach a little further down the path was quite strenuous, but not very nice for lying down and swimming. So we went straight to Split every day to go into the sea there. The pool was partly ok, but also quite dirty for 1-2 days. A few days later our friend finally arrived and then even bigger problems started, we had 2 cars, which is also clear since we are 6 people. The said "lady" stormed into the apartment, asked for the passport and said something about problems, since she did not understand us, she just wanted to leave the apartment with the passport, of course we stopped her and took the passport away, I mean sry but where are we here, what kind of kind is that please? If I rent an apartment and pay 1200 €, no one is allowed in during that time unless I want it in! What if I'm walking around naked or doing something? Then she walked a little with the police in the stairs. In the meantime we got ready and after about 1-2 hours we went to party, in the meantime I get a message that we should come back immediately and have to pack our things, although we have one more day and paid for it have for 6 people !!! I then wrote that I will either get my money back or that I will only leave on the day for which I have also booked! He continued to argue with me, and in the end I left the apartment where I had my last day. Saturday morning when we brought the things into the car, we were insulted by the man (I think he was from the lady in question) and he wanted some more money from us. So before you spend your money on such a dirty apartment with such unfriendly people, book something smart, that was a cheek! Nobody is allowed to treat someone like that, especially not when you rent something.
