The second largest island in the Kornati group of islands lies between the island of Pašman and the island of Kornati. This is the destination that will best suit the people who enjoy Robinson Crusoe style of vacation.
Since the island has no permanent settlement and is covered only with olives and figs, complete peace on vacation will be guaranteed. During the year only the inhabitants of the island of Murter who are engaged in fisheries and agriculture are staying on the island. Despite this, there is an ACI marina with 120 berths and a restaurant offering local fish specialties.
Apart from vacationers in „Robinson Crusoe” style, Žut is a favorite place for yachtsmen from various parts of the world, having some of the most beautiful bays with crystal clear sea. The most famous bay is Ražanj, which is also the largest, and there are also two beautiful bays - Bizikovica and Pinizel. In the coves, you can find a place to swim in the sea as there are no classic beaches on the island of Žut.
You have to keep in mind that you can only get to the island by boat (own or rented) because there is no regular ferry line connecting it with the mainland.
